Does the earth really rotate on it's "axis" and orbit the sun and has it been...

...observed and tested ? Because the Michelson-Morely, Airey's failure, and Sagnac experiments conclude other wise. Stating factual evidence of the Earth being stationary and the aether's rotation around the Earth which falsifies Einsteins theory of relativity.

At least you are not taking about moon landing conspires, or 9-11 conspiracy bull$h*t.

Boron give you a star for originality.

ummm well we have seasons because of the distance we are away from the sun at different times of the year. it takes 365.25 days for the earth to complete an orbit around the sun. The length of the day is determined by the time of year i.e the global position of each country. Without the axis we would have constant 12 hour daylight throughout the year and different latitues would experience the same 12 hour daylight period which is not the case as antarctica has VERY short daylight periods and can never see sunlight for months.

It is thought that the earth's tilt was caused by a huge blow from another planet which knocked the earth into its angle and created the moon... the dust and rock from the earth gravitated together to become one mass. it has been proven that the moon rock is the same age as similar types of rock on earth.

thats all i know sorry! youl probably get some physics genious answering your question a bit better hopefully!
