At the moment, I'm nothing, when it comes to religion. I've never been baptized or been forced to go to church. My dad is becoming catholic and asked me if I wanted to take the classes with him and become baptized, I said yes. (please, do not criticize or "dis" Catholicism or Catholics, I'd rather not hear about it). My dad and my boyfriend (who is also Catholic) told me that there is no sex before marriage, which I knew. What they also told me was that the bible says that you should only have sex to conceive a child, not for fun or just to do it.My friend who is not Catholic said that the bible says that it's okay to have sex. My other friend who is Catholic said that she was told (by her priest) that sex is allowed to just do it as long as contraceptives weren't being used. I'm not sure who I should believe so I would like some input from some other people. My dad is taking a class and my boyfriend goes to a catholic school, so I don't know.
If you could, just give your input. But if you happen to know where in the bible it discusses sex or if you can even summarize what it says for me because you're not sure where in the bible to locate it, that'd be fine. I would just appreciate some answers.
