Does the Bible make any negative reference to loving same-sex relationships?

Scripture records the details of the vow that Ruth made to Naomi. Here are her words:
Ruth 1: 16, 17 states:
"And Ruth proceeded to say: 'Do not plead with me to abandon you, to turn back from accompanying you; for where you go I shall go, and where you spend the night I shall spend the night. Your people will be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I shall die, and there is where I shall be buried. May Jehovah do so to me and add to it if anything but death should make a separation between me and you'.

This couple had made a covenant with each other. To the ancient Israelites, a covenant was viewed as a holy bond, a powerful uniting of two people. The text says, “Ruth clung to [Naomi].” The Hebrew word for “clung” is “dabaq.” This is precisely the same Hebrew word used in Genesis 2:24 to describe how Adam felt toward Eve. There the Scriptures say -- without apology, embarrassment, or qualification -- that Ruth felt the same way toward Naomi as spouses are supposed to feel toward each other. Far from being condemned, Ruth’s feelings appear to be celebrated.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,

10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

And no same sex marriage isn't ok the bible says husband and wife now wife and wife and husband and husband....find one scripture to support anything about same sex marriage...

Everything in the Bible is negative towards same sex relationships. The scriptures you quote are not of a same sex relationship, merely a friendship. Ruth later married Boaz. Thanks for sharing though.

Ruth was Naomis daughter in law. Her husband and Naomis son had died. Ruth was pledging to care for Naomi. As a daughter would. Sex had nothing to do with it. Pax Christi

Ruth and Naomi were related through marriage. They were not lovers. However, while the Bible always condemns fornication and condemns straight men who leave women for other men (Levitcus 18 & 20 and Romans 1), it does not condemn same gender love and marriage.

there is nothing wrong with two woman who are friends and two guys that are friends....

Its wrong when they allow the UNnatural affection of lust one towards another to come in and that's when its wrong

Love is LOve, don't you love your friends ?

would you not lay down your life for your friends ??

But in Ruth 4, we see that Boaz married Ruth....

I don't mean to be rude, just to point out that this relationship between Ruth and Naomi was not written in a light of holy matrimony, but of a deep friendship.
