retainer? I was being threatened by a real estate company earlier this year, for commission, that they did not earn. I hired an attorney in April 2009 who charged me 2,500.00 plus an additional 500.00; which he said would be used to file a counter suit of fraud. His last phone message to me on July 13, 2009 stated that they were still going to sue me. He had since then refused to provide documentation or return any phone calls or e mails from me. He is licensed by the Bar of California. I just found out today, by calling the threatening company myself, that they sent my Attorney a letter in May 2009 stating that they were not going to pursue any claims against me, since the realtor had left the company. The lawyer for the realty company further advised me she had not spoken to my attorney since May when they dropped the matter. To date the lawyer is still non responsive to e mail, and his phone mail is full and will no longer accept messages. His other cell line is a voice message and calls are never returned. I have all of the appropriate documentation, and I filed it with the Bar association. I wondered if there are any other agencies or associations I can report him to?
