Does the Army still practice parachuting dogs into hostile areas?

I am speaking of real dogs. During WW2 dogs were jumping out of planes just like their handlers would.

Does this still happen today?

You can read here about the airborne dogs and you can see a picture of a dog with a parachute on him as he comes down. It is a funny picture.

No but let me tell you about a secret Army program in the 70s

they did breed wolfs with dogs to create some kind of huge hard to kill bloodthirsty dog to drop into enemy areas to cause general chaos( i think it took a huge amount of ammo to kill one) this is a very secret program that i should not be telling but it shows the use of dogs as a weapon and its of course discontinued
