Does the age of consent make it illegal for me to have sex...?

If I'm 14 and my boyfriends 17.

i live in massachusetts.

is it still illegal even if i don't press charges?
I'm not Going to tell my parents.

Its still illegal even though we are both under the age of 18?
Why does it matter that i'm younger than him?
 
It can only harm him.
It is not illegal for you to have sex with him it is only illegal for him to have it with you.
 
Probably. You don't have to press charges. your parents can press charges. If either of you is stupid enough to text about it to your friends or even post it on my space or face book and the cops find it, that is enough and they will arrest him.
 
you don't press charges...your parents do and your boyfriend is still a minor and you are as well so there probably wouldnt be anything you can do to bring him down
 
It is not illegal for you to have sex with him. He is 17, and the age of consent in MA is 16.

It is VERY illegal for him to have sex with you, because you are under 16.
