Does the 8th grade science and social studies state test count for anything?

I don't think it does, because in the 5th grade I took a science state exam, and I never even got my score back..
 
No, and let me also add that every grade/test/class/and out of school activities do not get recorded or counted for anything until you get to high school.

So...that kid next to you who always seems to get bad grades, and doesn't seem to be very "bright" may be the smartest kid in 8th grade.
 
Usually, no. Plus you're in such an early grade to take tests that really matter -- SAT's, ACT's, and the more than likely graduation exam.
