Does sprinting without rest make you develop cold symptoms?

The question sounds stupid, but really. In P.E. class we had to do the pacer test where we had to run without slowing down. I pushed myself to run more than I liked and the test made my throat hurt a lot. It was really scratchy, and it hurt to cough or talk. Now I have a runny nose, lots of sneezing, and a headache. Could the running have 'agitated' a cold? I felt quite healthy this morning.
