Does someone who cheats on their partner and doesn't confess, thinking that not confessing is in the best interest of the relationship and will prevent a lot of hurt put upon their partner...do they, with time regret the dishonesty in the relationship? Let's say the couple goes on to get married, with the secret between them...does the person doing the lying, sometimes go on to regret the dishonesty in the relationship? Do they regret that they settled for being a dishonest person, to the person that should matter to them the most? Do they feel remorse for being dishonest and having cornered themselves into a life of dishonesty?
