Does Smart2go scam people?

The Beta is the software.
The prenium price is for the service (service is not in Beta)


Tomtom will not allow transfer to another handset either AFAIK. The activation code is based on your IMEI. Tomtom would get more screwed to allow people to transfer phones because then both the old and new phones would work with Tomtom (it's not an online service after all)

Smart2Go requires a connection for turn by turn navigation... I think... and so they can limit the access to 1 IMEI at the time.

I don't know what they mean by cleared my license info. I sent a query back about what exactly does it mean. I hope it doesn't mean I have to pay again and just lost my license.
 
I am also a victim of smart2go's bad licensing or rather defective software. I am using N73 on O2 UK.

I chose to buy navigation for 1 month by opting to pay thru my phone bill. It showed up smart2go will send 4 premium messages of 1.5GBP each. When the bill came I could see 5 SMS being sent in effect I have got charged for 1.5GBP extra.
As there is no proper support link available on their website, I filled the feedback form. so far no reply.

From my experience I would recommend people not to use it atleast till its out of Beta. Luckily I had chosen 1 month....
