im a huge runner, and i run all the seasons. during winter when i have meets indoors, my times are slower than when i have meets outdoors in the spring. while its cold outside, its better to run indoors, but when the weather is good, without a doubt outdoors is the best.

im doinga VO2 MAX test
to see how good my body is for the oxygena nd whatever
its still pretty cold outside
so im thinking of either doing hte test outdoors or indoors
the test sees how far u run in 12 minutes
what do you think
would it be better if i ran indoors or outdoors?
im training for football in the summer.
my point of this question is what would be more accurate since im going to be doing it mainly in the summer

it depends, if your feet start to hurt after you've been running for a while, do it inside. the hardwood has a lot of give and is easier on your joints. on the other hand, there is less traction when running on hardwood than when you run on a track surface so it can be harder to accelerate and sprint. another factor is that making turns on hardwood can be slipery, so you have to slow down. depending on the weather, i would do it outside.
