Hi everyone!
I have an unlocked Tmobile Pearl, and I am having trouble connecting to my carrier (in Paraguay).
Apparently T-mo blocks de Preferred network option in the Network section, allowing only automatic or manual search. I am not able to find my carrier manually.
Does Rogers's firmware has this option??
Do you guys have an idea, besides changing firmwares, on how to solve this problem?

Thanks a lot !!!

#1. Is Rogers on a GSM network?
#2. It it possible that your phone isn't unlocked.
#3. Does t-mobile possibly have service in Paraguay?
#4. Do you have a Rogers Sim card in your phone? sometimes a sim card isn't unlocked. You might have to get one from Rogers...and also, make sure that you have the most updated sim card. Have you called Rogers or gone to one of their stores?

Also, try sending your service books to your phone thru the Rogers site (when you log in)

I have Cingular Pearl (Slate) running on Rogers network, but it will not accept Rogers Handheld software. It seems that to upgrade the software, you would have to use the carrier that the device came from. In my case, Cingular (Now the New AT&T). In your Case, T-Mobile. Yours may accept some European updates because T-Mobile is big there. Best you can do is try. If you get fatal error with Desktop Manager, you will know that you would not be able to use that software to update your device.
