Does Rogers actually provide UMA service?

I know they have "talkspot", is that UMA? Can you only have one location you can use your UMA service through (if it's available at all)?

If talkspot is UMA, and it is $15/mo, I'd like to know that so long as I have a wifi connection, that I can make a call through it. Otherwise it just isn't worth it.
 
Yeah it works just fine. They say it works only on your home router, but I've gotten it work other WiFi spots too, so as long as it says UMA in the corner, talk as much as you like!! Definitely worth it IMO
 
now I thought that UMA mode only gave you IP for web browsing, or apps that required INTERNET access.
 
My daughter has a pearl flip and I don't pay for the UMA but the icon comes up on the phone at home, does that mean it is available or does it mean it is working?
 
That mean uma is available but you misn still count on your regular mins since you are not paying for the service.
