Thanks for ur reply,.... when it rains, i am in a delima......i mean from having very nice skin with no acne or pimples......but with dark patches after trying Makari lightening cream, i started trying all sorts to fade my face back to its normal shade..... now i have the worse look ever, pimples, blackheaRAB, whiteheaRAB, spots etc
I hve tried salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide(otc), glycolic acid cream, but nothing seems to be working. i just ordered Retin A micro and obagi nu derm coz a friend told me her derm prescribed the treatment for her and it really worked. I hope this helps coz i hve spent so much, its unbelievable.
And i have been contemplating taking out a loan from the bank to go for treatments at hardley street in london.
Gosh its so depressing and i am so consious for my looks........ can any one advise me pleaseeeeeee.

I'am so sorry! I know how you feel, and I have been there too.
Retin-A should help you though.Don't get discouraged, but it can take like a month or two before you really see anything.Retin-A is a topical retinoid, and they clear what is underneath your skin.So it may seem worse at first.Alot of derms prescribe a antibiotic with them to help ease the process the first month or so.
It is important to NOT use Benzoyl Peroxide (or you can but not at the same time as it makes retin-a unstable, basically it will not work)
If Retin-A you find is too strong for you and does not work, you may want to try DIFFERIN gel.It is a bit more gentle, and for some reason more effective for some people.
