examples: Talks about Ferguson and Man United and "luck" with the refs. Everyone's up in arms.

Talks about Gareth Barry signing for Manchester City just for money and everyone's up in arms.

Does he make his own negative image?
 
He is telling the truth, lets face it man u were helped along by the ref's last season and what reason but money would barry turn down 2 of the big 4 and champions league, even european football.
 
Yeah, he's always putting his foot in his mouth. Despite his success in Europe he hasn't won the league yet which lends a feeling of bitterness to his words. Plus he reminds me of Gomer Pyle in Full Metal Jacket.
