Does paying for a car in full cash down on the spot help your credit score any?

Suppose I go to a brand new car lot and pay straight cash for a car in full as is....will this raise my credit score any?

No. Cash purchases do not affect your credit record at all.

Paying in cash wil do absolutely nothing for your credit score. You will save interest (smart), but it will not help you build credit.

If you really want to build credit, then perhaps you can get a loan for a small amount and pay it over a few years.
