I'm looking at taking a course which I guess requires a certain number of hours of community service. Would this count for anything, even if it's not community service? What else could I do?
When I say I'm going up as a high school student, I mean that I'd be the one dragging the little kiddies around the trails if you are unfamiliar.
Basically what you do is you go up to the mountains with your school for 5 days. Your parents aren't there, only teachers and high school students, who often volunteer for it and it is the high school students that lead the little ankle biters on hikes and other projects as well as supervising the cabins. (Really it's quite a pointless trip)
I had heard that there was a specific science class I would like to take that requires community service. I'd already planned on signing up for it and I wanted to know if it would be beneficial at all.
