Does Obama refer to pop culture or media events, and himself, too often?

nononsense

Washington laid out the model of a President's demeanor. Love him or hate him, George W. seldom got himself involved with issues not affecting his office.

When attacked politically, George W., also, seldom defended himself, I suspect he viewed it as undignified.

Obama seems to interject himself into issues better, perhaps, left with others, and other institutions, to resolve. He also seems to constantly address criticism of the White House.

Would Obama be wise to let such protestations go?

What came to mind when I read your question was his comment about health care reform- "it will not effect me because I have great health care nor will it effect anyone in the House or Senate as they too have great health care!" Well Mr. POTUS exactly you will be taken care of for the rest of your life upon retirement making $400,000 a year with those same great health benefits, while us average Americans will be left with rationed health care and watch the private insurance company's fall to the government plan which we will all be forced to in the next 5 years.
His opinion is irrelevant to me, he has proven to be selfish and condescending in all of his approaches. Go back to Chicago, we don't want you!
