I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0.
What I do know is that it has an optional 3:73 Open Differential 10 bolt Dana rear end. (3:55 was standard on the 2000 Grand Cherokee's). I have been trying to identify if it's a Dana 44 or something else. Here's a picture of it:
