I got my 6 month old dog about a month ago, and he's been acting real peculiar lately...
-He's been randomly barking angrily at people as well as inanimate objects
-Whining these high-pitched squeals that remind me of a car alarm but then stops abruptly and is undisturbed.
-Just the other day he had a short episode where he couldn't stand up without convulsing uncontrollably and was walking in circles and flinching whenever anyone got too close. (And then quickly recovered)
-He seems to have trouble controlling his tail since it hardly ever moves and is bent funny.
He's been acting absolutely senile lately and I don't know what's wrong with him! I got him from a really disgusting pound that didn't know anything about him except that his owner had a whole litter of dogs he didn't want. He now lives in a house of seven people, two of which are toddlers that are constantly feeding him funny things and harassing him, with my other full grown dog. What is this? I plan on taking him to the vet as soon as I can to check it out, but I'm just curious of the possibility of him having some mental or emotional issues??
