Does my Bluetooth for my PS3 work?

I bought a Mad Catz Bluetooth 8860 for my PS3. I charged it, registered it, and set the sound settings for everyone else to hear me. I set the input as my bluetooth and the output as my TV (where the sound comes out of). I tested to make sure the sound would work in the accessory settings as well and the sound does go through. However, The game I play has a function so that I have to press and hold L2 and then speak for anyone to hear me. I do just that...but no sound goes through. As far as I know, no one hears me. If anyone else speaks, I hear them (through the tv). Anyone know what is wrong?
