C catmandew New member Jul 26, 2009 #2 No. Torsion bars were used on the 4wd S-10, but the 2wd version used coil springs mounted on the lower control arms. 4wd used the torsion bars so that the CV shafts could go through the area where the springs are on the 2wd.
