I have a 1994 Toyota Corolla with manual transmission. In the past few days it has become very hard to get it into gear from a stopped position, I've had to actually slam the gearshift in place a few times. Once I'm on the road, it 'loosens up' and shifts as usual. The clutch still has the same amount of resistance and there are no new noises. I'm wondering if the clutch needs to be replaced or if it requires a simpler fix? Thanks for your help.
