Does Muhammed ever specifically say don't eat pork or only eat kosher food?

Pork is forbidden in Islam according to the text of the Qur’aan, where Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“He has forbidden you only the Maytah (dead animals), and blood, and the flesh of swine…”
[al-Baqarah 2:173]

We can eat kosher food provided that there is no alcohol used.

Edit: The only reason we have been told is because it is considered impure in the Quran.

That is sufficient enough, whether it has parasites or not is irrelevant

Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked a name other than that of Allah. [Al-Qur’an 5:3]

Swine is also forbidden in the bible (old testimony)

And id rather not go into the diseases caused by consuming pork, it may ruin it for you :)

[5:1] Lawful unto you (for food) are all four-footed animals, with the exceptions named

[5:3] Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than God; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety

[5:5] The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them.
