It certainly works for me. My acne was not extreme, but I just had a never ending stream of new flare ups on chin, throat and scalp, and eventually got tired of waiting for it to go away. I went on a 6 month course about two years ago and quickly got to where I wanted to be, pretty much all clear all the time. I went off it and found myself back at square one. I asked my doctor to put me back on it 9 months ago, and age said no problem, you can take it forever (can't wait to hear the reaction to that). I misplaced my pills two weeks ago halfway through a refill, and I've been counting down the days to today when my insurance would allow me get it. And in that two weeks? Yep, back to the big flare ups in all the usual places. I ripped open my 'script today like a junkie trying to get a fix. I went to the trouble of posting this as I found this message board while searching to see how this miracle drug (for me) actually works, and was surprised to see so many negative comments. So I thought I'd give voice to the silent majority who probably no longer have any need to use message boarRAB like this as they're happy with the results. Remeraber why the people on this board are here in the first place - probably because of a problem with a treatment which didn't work. It worked for me and I sturabled on this board not out of concern but curiosity. Also, I'm not a doctor, hence I have not tried to speak to anybody's personal symptoms or experience. I can only share my own story. Be careful of the opinion of those who choose differently.
