I am 17 years old and a citizen of Canada.
About three weeks prior to my Physical Examination, I have consumed marijuana (smoked). I am aware that the marijuana I consumed will stay in my system, but being under-aged I am wondering whether the doctors will be looking for any drugs that may be in my system.
This was a physical examination, where they have drawn blood from my forearms, they have taken a urine sample and was required to take my clothes off for the examination of my genitals as well as having my height and weight taken as well as a routine checkup.
MY QUESTIONS ARE:
1. Will the urine/blood sample indicate that I have consumed Marijuana?
2. If so, will the doctor be required to disclose the results of any traces of drug consumption to my parents (17 years old/under aged).
I would really appreciate it if a doctor or someone with hospital/nursing or past experiences to answer my question for accuracy purposes.
(PLEASE NOTE THAT I LIVE IN CANADA AND UNDERAGED)
