It depends on the person, if you like it loud then no. If I drive with loud music it is fine with me, I just can't hear my engine and things outside as good; or my friend talk. If it's my mom with loud music it's a different story, if you know what I mean.
It shouldn't affect ones driving if you like it loud, but it can influence you to drive faster, and for me better- drive more alert. I call it the "athletic driver."
Just make sure you turn it down when you see a five-o. Don't want a "disturbing the peace" ticket.
