Does LG Download not work with Vista?

I have a problem getting the NV Edit window to pop up. I put in the correct SPC code, and the program says that it is putting the phone in DIAG Mode. I don't know if it does go into DIAG Mode, but the phone (8500) dials some nurabers and gets "No Service". I know a window for the NV Edit is supposed to show up, but it doesn't. Does this program have problems with Vista?

And can I write the MMS and WAP setting using Bitpim? If so, can someone tell me how?
 
u will need LG Download.... I haven't had a problem with it and Vista... but a lot of the other programs will not work or not work right.

you could try setting the compatibility to XP..... not sure this will fix your issue though. Vista sucks for flashing phones... IMO
 
Ugh. Man, I've been trying for weeks to get this to open up. I appreciate your help. I will try it in Compatibility Mode man.

Edit: Nope. Window still doesn't open up.
 
it didnt work on mine...i was trying for months cuz i was a noob and finally someone told me vista doesnt like the flashing programs so i used a different computer with XP and it opened right up.
