Does Law of Attraction really work?

Hi i'm 14 and i've never met my father, last days i don't i was just thinking about him and that i've never even knew him and everything i've did had something to do with my father or i've meet persons that has EXACTLY the same problem...Does The Law of Attraction really exist? I don't know what to believe anymore, I don't know it's just confusing
