Does Kawasaki ER-6N meet 50 state emission regulations?

I was told CA dealers are replacing different carburetors to their ER-6Ns so i was wondering if kawa made different ER-6Ns across the states. I am from CA and I plan to purchase a bike from Fremont Motorsports in CO which is $3000 cheaper than some in so.Cal
 
The CA model has a catalytic converter which adds to the price. California has the strictest antipollution laws in the nation.
