Does Judge Sotomayor adhere to the "blind justice" ideal?

If so, how do you explain her comment about a wise latina woman making better decisions than a white male? Would that be blind justice? Would a black judge better decide a case involving a black accused of a crime?
 
I'm pretty sure the dozens of people posting about this today have not watched her answer these exact questions, but instead are regurgitating what Boss Limbo said. If you watched her, you would understand her point.
