Does it seem likely that foreign planetary systems are currently harboring

intelligent civilizations? Such as the Vega Star System depicted in the movie Contact?
ya there does seem to be evidence to point to something higher creating life as its very complex in nature but could you not just simply explain that by the many millions of years of evolution where most life first began as simple cell organisms which evolved over incredible lengths of time?
ya i agree that many scientists and evolutionists are atheist but thats the baggage that comes with seeking logical answers for everything, blind faith is becoming an obstacle with the many crap things happening in the world, even a shred of proof would dispel many theories.

it's a sure bet that there is life. As for what stage that life is in, i'd say it's a "safe" bet that one planet somewhere has an intelligent civilzation

There is an equation called the Drake equation which attempts to theorise/estimate the number of civilisations that could be in our galaxy. It relies on a set of statistical probabilities - I've attached a detailed explanation as a source.

With current numbers this estimates there are 2.31 intelligent, alien civilisations in the Milky Way galaxy that we may contact within humanity's lifetime. We estimate there are around 100 billion galaxies in the universe.

If half of these galaxies are as dense as ours, that estimates at least 115 billion civilisations.

Slightly off topic - there is a ton of evidence in regards to evolution and absolutely ZERO evidence of a something higher creating life (opinion such as 'Life is too complex to have evolved' is not evidence, and if anything is more arrogant than not believing a God). I've put a link in sources which you may be interested in reading regarding this.

Life can exist in other planets but so powerful telescope doesn't exist to see it. We can't explore pluto very good even now!

As it stands now, there is no evidence of life beyond Earth. But it certainly can't be discounted as a possibility.

There is no true substantial evidence for evolution. Since monkeys have arms and legs and a head and two eyes we must be related. Although a preying Mantis has two legs two arms and two eyes so we must also be part insect. Same goes for bears and sloths. A monkey is a monkey nothing else and shall not evolve in to anything else. Sharks have been around since the dawn of time, why arent there any evolved sharks? Evolved mosquitos, flies, rats, or Dragonflies?
Evolution does not exist it is just a way to try to prove God does not exist which if you havent noticed, many evolutionists either are "Atheist" or are too arrogant to believe in a greater power besiedes our own.
