Does it make a difference in photojournalism if you know arabic?

If your a phtotojournalist will knowing arabic help you get a head when getting hired? is known arabic benificial?
 
Knowing Arabic or any second (or third) language would be a benefit in virtually any job, though it would be most useful for a photojournalist if you're trying to get a gig covering the Middle East or another Arabic-speaking area. It won't be the absolute be-all, end-all - your photographs will still have to be excellent to have a real shot at ever using those Arabic language skills.
