I hit a tree and I was wondering if it looks like it is totaled. It does still run but I am not sure if it can be determined from the pictures I took. If it is determined totaled then I will just sell it to the junk yard.

Thanks guys.

Your car could be fixed but for the age of it It would probably be considered a Total Loss You could probably find used parts and Have someone pull the frame for you if the car has special meaning www.partshotlines.com may help in finding the used parts

Most likely... yes. I cannot see the chassis or the frame, but it looks they are both bent just from looking from the outside. Put a bullet in it, although it is not necessary.

Former Farmers auto claim adjuster here. What year was your car? Almost looksl ike a "rolling total loss". In other words, any major damage will be more than the value of the car, in which case the insurance co. owes you the value of the car. Good luck with that, they usually use CCC which screws the customer I have found thru experience., Good luck. Hopefully it was another guy's fault but it looks like rear end job with you at fault.

yes it is totaled. That is an older car. even if the frame is not damaged, which i would guess it is, if the cost of the repair is more then the value of the car they will total it.

Yeah; it looks as if there was damage to the frame. At that point, there's really no use in fixing it.

the big question is whether or not the right front strut tower has moved back. If it has, the body will need a pull at a frame shop. I would say there is $2500 damage there

It looks like toast to me.

You can always put it up for separate parts on craigslist.
or ebay. I just gave someone $50.00 for a buick Park Ave
taillight assembly....

Just a suggestion. Take what you can off of it. Either way , with
the price of metal lately, someone will haul it off with or without
wheels. Check around....

Good luck.
