Does it is truth the british schools banned teaching the history of the Holocaust just because the islam communities felt offended?

The suggestion that the U.K. had banned teaching the Holocaust began appearing after the publication of a report from the British Historical Association.

That report, titled Teaching Emotive and Controversial History 3-19, noted that "a history department in a northern city recently avoided selecting the Holocaust as a topic for GCSE coursework for fear of confronting anti-Semitic sentiment and Holocaust denial from some Muslim pupils."

So the answer is yes and no. One school did remove study of the Holocaust from an elective course so as not to offend Muslim pupils.

Study of the Holocaust remains part of the national curriculum for children in England. The Holocaust is not required in the national curricula of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. And because British children can choose what subjects to do at GCSE level, only about a third will do that exam in history.

Away from this particular subject, my personal feeling is that there is way too much of this fear of offending others going on in the UK. It's getting to a ridiculous stage, and I can't see what purpose it serves other than to make many people annoyed at what they feel is the erosion of British ways in order to appease others.

No,it isn't banned !
BUT, a lot of teachers do not teach it because it might "upset" Muslims.
The teachers' unions are very Politically Correct, and every effort must be made to kiss Muslim A*se.

Vadaptre is correct.
The 2 largest Divisions of the Nazi SS were Muslim: "Handschar" and "Skanderbeg"
Google them.
