I was looking at the EF 17-40 f/4 L USM lens. It looks like a great lens for the price, but it doesn't have IS. I'll mostly just be taking pictures for fun, and maybe I'll take my DSLR to a friend's or relative's house.
Will not having image stabilization make a huge difference?
Also, will the f/4 aperture be alright for indoor places that are decently lit?
(What I mean by "decently lit" is that there's no extra lighting, but just a normal light on the ceiling.
