My boyfriend (lets call him Mark) broke up with me a couple of months back, and I got together with one of his friends (John) as a way to try and get over him. I'm a virgin, but I did everything but sex with my first proper boyfriend (Lewis). I was with Lewis for around seven months.
When I was with Mark, I was and still am madly in love with him. I'm happy beyond belief when I'm with him, but he never once tried it on after I told him I was a virgin, I think he was scared of touching me which was weird seeing as I know for a fact he has had a LOT of sexual experience... he ended up making his ex-girlfriend pregnant but she aborted it.
Anyway, when I was with John for those few weeks, he was really forward and we ended up doing pretty much everything but sex, again.
But Mark and I have got back together now, we just realized we loved each other too much. And the other day, we were at my best friends house party and in her double bed. Everyone else was sleeping in other parts of the house. We were kissing and he climbed on top of me and his hands strated wondering 'down there'. But i suddenly felt really embarrassed for some reason and stopped him. He asked "why?" and i said that it was too soon, we'd only just got back together. He stopped straight away, but then he did wonder out loud why I did that stuff with John then after I'd only been with him for a couple of weeks, which I couldn't answer. I think I just wanted to use John to get over Mark.
But I do want to take things further with Mark, and now I think I might have given him the wrong idea, that I don't want to sleep with him. I just care about what he thinks too much.
Does he think I won't want to have sex?
