Does having our officers understand the different cultures add to their overall

understanding of the people th? Does having our officers understand the different cultures add to their overall understanding of the people they serve? Does it add to the police understanding why crimes are committed? Does it add in their being able to handle the various situations they deal with? Does it bring them closer to lowering the crime rate through knowledge of diverse cultures? If not, are we wasting even more time?
