Does having oral sex affect my virginity?

Oral sex will not break your hymen, so, from a vaginal point of view, you have not experienced penal penetration. It's a pretty big stretch to contend you are a virgin though. Anyone who has engaged in activity that is intimate enough to include oral sex would not be considered a virgin in any moral code I know of. You have been involved in intimate relations with a male, I don't know what looking for some kind of verbal loop hole gets you. I hope you don't intend to use the (giggle, giggle, technicality) that you are a virgin in future relationships. That would be deceptive and you know it.

My boyfriend and I had oral sex, and I'm worried that it affects my virginity to have done so. I'd read in a few different places that having oral sex does take away your virginity, but I wasn't sure as it doesn't break your hymen. I'm not sure, and could really use some advice.

well to the world you are a virgin cus your cherry hasnt pooped, but in Gods eyes you are not a virgin. im a christian and i serve the one true king Jesus Christ and being a virgin doesnt mean keeping your hymen sealed...being a virgin means staying pure until marraige. that includes not doing ANYTHING sexual at all until the day you are married. so since you have had oral sex no you are not a virgin. youre technically considered one because your hymen hasnt broke but the truth is you arent a virgin.

No, you do not lose your virginity from oral sex, but please be careful because you can still get STDs (sexually transmitted deseases) from oral sex. And please wait until you are 18!!

well if he hasnt been inside you (besides his tougne) and popped your cherry then no. it doesnt affect your virginity. but oral sex non the less is still a FORM of sex. but not the real thing so ur good.
