I consider myself to be the average joe. I fence and play guitar. Listen to a lot of known and popular music (greenday, linkin park, three days grace, etc). I have some cool and normal friends. But at lunch i sit with a group who is kind of weird. This one kid is definitely not normal, he is weird and has no friends, the other kid is weird as well he just doesnt act normal, the other one is pretty normal and the last kid is not that popular either. I have other friends who are normal and kool and well known throughout the school.

Average people are boring they just agree with everything and have no flair I would much rather be weird than conform to what everyone else is doing

e.g I loved art and would spend obscene amounts of time painting when I got going
Whilst others listened to popular indie, pop rock etc I listened to jazz, classical and the blues as I appreciate good music to commercial rubbish
I helped organise a fashion show even though it was not the "masculine" thing to do

When you are younger you want to be seen as "cool" and "normal" and it makes your school life go through quicker however the eccentric people are so much more interesting and alot of the time more intellegent as they act themselves and are not trying to prove themselves to anyone

Do yourselve a favour be yourself and let the real you determine what you do and who you hang out with not the social barriers of peer pressure
