GM outsources to Mexico ....not China
But it is a lose...lose situation for GM
They have already given them a great deal of money, and will lose this if GM goes under.
But if they let them bankrupt ..the small jobber shops where they get parts will go belly up . Costing more jobs.
More money is not the answer..but something needs to be done.
Damsell, I agree but a bankruptcy will not remove the UAW or their hemorrhaging money problem. In order to stay alive they need to retool to a newer more gas efficient car, and they just do not have the cash...even after bankruptcy
