well, i was raised in religious household and in a religious country (philippines), ghost stories, and something about the supernatural like talismans, flying flesh eating monsters (aswangs), ESP's, old wives tales, have molden and made my childhood an exciting but quite frightening one, lol but now im 17, and very skeptic and questionable when it comes to my catholic faith,...i am now scientific, and now i don't believe entirely to that deity in the sky so unlike in my childhood days (from the scale of one to ten and ten is the highest belief> i would consider the belief of the concept of god as only rank 5,...
however im still intrigued about the concepts of ghosts,ghouls,apparitions, miracles,demons,angels, spirits,etc.etc.
though now in a scientific age,....many people still has that typical ghost stories,whose claims are true to life,.....almost everyone in my family has encountered ghosts or something about the paranormal,my mom saw different apparitions and miracles during her childhood,my dad saw the spirit of his aunt and grandma, my little bro saw a dark figure on an old street,and a dark giant sitting in a tree smoking a tobacco, my grandma's sister was once a victim of possession, some of my cousins,uncles,aunts, have claims about the supernatural, (smoky aparitions, dwarfs, elves,gnomes, "gift of tongues", poltergeist activity, ressurection from the dead,miracles orbs,aswangs,vampires,shapeshifters etc.etc....i was once a witness of a demonic possession in my school when i was 8, and once committed astral travel when i was sick last year,....
now i was wondering could these mentioned phenomenons can be explain scientifically,....as a matter of fact true,...some claim as only the trick of light, coincidence, rare display of nature,psychology, "im only tired", my imagination gone wild".....(btw my entire family be it on the mother or father side don't take drugs lol)
anyway,..eventhough i am now convinced about the scientific reasoning and questions,...i still don't succumb into atheism,.......;-p
i still stick into my christian faith,......the agnostic,but scientific one
