Does Ford make a 4 cylinder Ranger with available power windows/locks and cruise...

yeah, you have to get an xlt or an edge, but i would highly suggest that you look at rangers in the used department of dealers or try to find one from a person selling one. i love my truck but im sad to say the resale value just isnt even close to what they are brand new. i mean you can get one for around 10-15 for a couple years old and you can go all the way up to 23-24 at the dealer and the next day itll be in the 10-15 pricerange. so it might be better for you to find a lower pricetag for a truck that will last forever anyway! but power is an option, just not on the xl

...control? I went to Ford's web site and "built" a 2WD 4 cylinder automatic Ranger, but power windows, locks and cruise control weren't available as options. Has Ford ever offered the 4 banger model with these options?

The Ranger is on my list of possible vehicle purchases that are decent on gas and these options would really be a plus for me. Also, would a Ford dealership be able to add these options at my request for an extra fee of course?
I've checked their site and the Power Equipment package is only available for the V6 3.0 and 4.0 models.

I've built a Ranger on the website and I think that cruise is optional, as well as the power windows etc which are included in the Power Equipment package. Kind of like manual transmission these days though in vehicles other than sports cars, most dealerships just order automatics because that's what most people will want. It's the same deal with power windows/locks in this day of age.

Yes! You can get a Ranger 2.4 I4 with the power equipment group on a XLT, Sport, or FX4 model. If you opt for the cheaper XL model that won't be available. The Power Equipment Group Package Includes:
• Power windows, locks and mirrors
• Remote keyless entry
• Standard high series interior door panels with map pockets for SPORT models.

I think it would be a wise choice to get a Ranger if you want a small fuel efficient truck. You can get a very nice one brand new for under $20,000. And the I4 gets 21/26 mpg. With a 19.5 gallon fuel tank you can go 400-500 miles on a tank of gas. Not bad. And only $50 to fill it up. At least where I live. $2.60/g.
