Does flea or their eggs get into electronics? If yes, how to clean them?

My room is infected with fleas. I have no idea where it comes from, perhaps from stray rats up on the ceiling floor. The bed is full of them. I tried spraying aerosol, white vinegar, baking soda and salt, still they keep popping up. Yes they are weak but still don't die.

I didn't notice the infestation and went outstation for a week, when I came back it was full blown. I have a 42" plasma TV, DVD player and speakers. I use cloth to cover them, so I'm afraid the fleas would have laid eggs on the cloth and gotten into the electronics. Anybody have any idea what to do?

I also want to ask, how about washing machine? Is it safe to use? And how to clean the vacumm cleaner or discard it?

I am moving away from the place, and I am very afraid I will bring the fleas with me through electronics or through carpeting in the car or my clothes. Appreciate any feedback. THanks so much!

They won't live long in electronics because there is nothing for them to eat. They might live in clothing as there are likely to be skin flakes that might attract them. You can get flea spray from the vet to spray on carpet and upholstery where they could lay eggs waiting to hatch later on...

Not really a rodent question!
