I have been on SSI since 2007. My SSI is getting reviewed tomorrow. I don't work. I am in college working on a CIT certificate. Recently the school started disbursing the money on a prepaid debit card instead of direct deposit or mailing a check. On my bank checking account I have about $200 and on my Investment CD I have about $1200. I try for it not to exceed $2000.
Does financial aid (scholarships & grants) affect Supplemental Security Income?
