Okay so i have this friend who has recently started homeschooling, and I guess he gets lonely a lot because whenever i go on Facebook he always chats me 2 seconds after i get on. It's like he stares at the chat box until i get on and it's creepy! So im wonder does the chat box have some kinds notification that a certain friend is on? cause it's getting creepy that he knows exactly when im on!

You can offline from chat. just click on Chat(online) then choose the Go Offline. you will be offline from chat and will be on next time when you log into facebook...

No, but some people use Facebook just for the chat, if he does this he would morethan likely leave the chat open so that he can see who comes and goes.

to answer your questioon, no. to help you, make a friends list with only him in it. then go offline in the chat with only his friends list =))
