Does everyone's Wii get really hot, or is it just mine?

i've had no problems ever with overheating, which makes this very peculiar

I'd probably talk to Nintendo if I were you.. mine barely gets warm at all.

The wii's have absolutely NO excuse to over heat under normal circumstances.

I had mine horizontal and it would get pretty hot. I just switched it to vertical and played for a while and it barely got warm that time. I'd say switch it.

Mine got pretty hot with connect24 on. Turned it off and it doesn't get hot

Mine was warm this morning. and still is, when it is only running the WiiConnect24 standby...

So yes, mine gets hot too.

Very warm if the Wiiconnect on standdby is left on. In fact, sometimes it's warmer than if I have the system on for a couple hours playing. I turned the Wiiconnect on standby off and when it's off...it's cool.

I had that problem, it was always hot as hell, and it turned out to be a faulty Wii. It played every game fine except for when I popped in Zelda and it locked up every 5 minutes. Nintendo overnighted me a new one for free and I had it the next day after launch.

I used to run mine on it's stomach, and it would get pretty warm as well. Even if it was turned off overnight, the discs would be 'hot' once you ejected them

So I put it on it's side, and it's a hell of a lot cooler now. The air vent system must work better standing up
