I'm going to start high school as a freshman, in about a week. I was wondering, if I'll get to choose the instrument I'm striving to play in music class because I really don't want to play a horn or something. Like if I don't already know how to play will they give the drums to someone else who already has more experience than me? Please, tell me how it works.
I live in Ontario, Canada, by the way. So since it may vary if you were to live in, say the United States, I'd prefer an answer from someone who lives near here, you know. But still all answers are appreciated since maybe it's the same after all, and just to know is kind of soothing... I guess, haha
