Does drinking a cup of tea everyday make you live longer?

Those chiinese and british and french people drink alot of tea and they live to a long age, is this their secret? Does the leaves clam the cells or something>???? how does it work
 
to be honest i hardly ever drink tea and im british, a few people i know drink quite abit but i reckon i will have about 3 cups of tea in a whole year (rough guess and im being serious), i hate coffee but i do drink alot of milkshake

Moroccans also drink a lot of tea but I don't think the average age is outstanding.

For Asians, I think it's a matter of global diet, not just the tea, or the fish. If they ate a lot of fat and lots of sweet things, tea alone wouldn't be enough.

P.S. In Morocco, we drink "mint tea" = gunpowder green tea infused with fresh mint leaves, and it's sweetened a lot.
