DOES CULTURE INFLUENCE LANGUAGE?
IF SO,
HOW,
WHY and in
WHAT WAY.
If you know any websites i can get information on HOW CULTURE INFLUENCE LANGUAGE, can you please list it.
Thank you for all your help.

Certainly culture influences language. For example, in Spanish, the proper construction for "I dropped the pen" is "Se me cayo la pluma." Literally, this would be translated into English as "The pen fell itself from me." This implies that the pen is blame-worthy, and not the speaker. This comes from the colonial era in America (south and central), when the "Indians" (or native Americans) were enslaved, and their masters were so fierce with their punishments that the language evolved so as to minimize the blame that fell on the slave.
